We were in Waco for one night and were craving bbq. We found R&S online and we're not disappointed. The restaurant was spotless even the kitchen which we could see through the open door. Cleanliness is super important to me so I was happy even before we got our to go food. The owners were friendly and welcoming. We ordered brisket, ribs, green beans and butter cake. Everything was awesome. The meat was cooked perfectly, the bbq sauce was awesome , the butter cake melted in my mouth and the beans were just like my grandma use to make. Super glad we found this place.

Hidden gem in Waco. The staff is husband and wife. They're always upbeat and kind. The food is always good. The chopped sandwich was delicious. I've also had the chicken and the ribs are to die for, they fall right off the bone. My husband loves the potato salad. The barbecue sauce is also good! Will definitely be back. Keep making delicious food R&S! 🙂 Great bbq and great service! My family and I love the turkey, brisket, chicken and ribs. My husband really likes the potato salad. GREAT bbq for a great price! finally tasty bbq i can afford to buy regularly, I'll be back for more and take photos. I ate it too fast before I could pull my phone out. I never like sausage, but their sausage is delicious. Brisket is great too, sauce is A+!! I enjoyed the potato salad, it has lots of large chunks of boiled eggs in it just like my southern grandma makes--You can't get that anywhere else!!! This place is a must try!!!

We tried R&S for the first time today, and I'm sorry we waited so long. I've walked by several times in the past and thought it smelled good, and I'm glad we finally got to try it today. We had the family pack, which was plenty of food for 4 people. We tried the chicken, brisket, turkey, and links, as well as the potato salad and mac & cheese. The mac was excellent (really, really, really good), with lots of flavor and a little kick of spice. The links were especially good as well. The brisket had good flavor but was a bit dry for my taste, but honestly, everything else was so good, I'm going to assume it was a fluke and try again next time. We'll definitely go back.
